Temporary Permanence

Part 1/? of snarker's zines from the outer world

Temporary Permanence is a perzine reflecting my previous stay at La Couvent de La Tourette in France. It was one of my first solo trips after a long while, completely driven by the need to break away from an incredibly fast paced, rowdy life in my city. Exploring my feelings and gradually coming back to my true, human self after days of unsettlement by peace and tranquility is something that I have wanted to capture for a long time. 

Main activities that I have done during my time here involved writing a lot on my travel journal, exploring the beautiful structures via random walks and guided tours, hiking (either to the nearby village or the forest) and catching up with my reading. 

I was also able to hold a small concert for the cows as well with a set list that includes:-

• Dream a Little Dream of Me by Ella Fitzgerald and Louie Armstrong

But most importantly, I have met numerous people in different times that have tweaked my perspectives and picqued my interest in life. I am eternally grateful to have met them and would certainly hold this trip close to my heart.
